Got an airport run in the next 3 hours so I'm baking a cheesecake and talking to Mr. Jez...who's out in an oilfield working an extra shift while I'm here sitting on my ass with last Sunday's Walking Dead on the tv in the kitchen. (I have a 55' mounted on the wall in there).
And yeah, I'm predicting Beth is gonna die...

Reading posts in this thread....duh!
Oh you mean other than that...trying to finish the pencils on a character turnaround before tomorrow's appearance at Star Con, our studio con, so I can show it off to hype a book planned for release next year, also sorting through our traveling con box to make sure we have everything set for the show. Dubiously looking at the page I am 2/3 of the way done pencilling, was hoping to have it done for tomorrow too, but doubtful that is happening. Also looking that scripts that I wrote earlier this year for the first 3 chapters when it was going to be a part of an anthology and considering how I want to revise them for the new format and for the fact I am collaborating with a different artist who will be handling all the flashback sequences to give them a different look, since Kevin will be there at the show tomorrow and in an ideal world I could give him those revised scripts to look at, but the clock in the bottom corner of my computer tells me not all of this will get done before I have to crash to get enough sleep to do the show then go work my regular Sat night shift afterwards.
Have my American roots music playlist going in the background and a cup of hot coffee within reach, so we'll see how much manages to get done...

Getting ready to get to the Open Doors day at the university, and try to convince young minds that our august institution is an excellent choice to study biology. I must also remember to get my youngest son's skates sharpened for tonight's game.
The strike at the university was short-lived: the union and the direction reached an agreement yesterday night. We were on strike for just one day, which is one too many as far as I'm concerned but has certainly done the job (since prior to it, negociations had been going on since January).

I just got up it's 10 to 5 o'clock in the morning and in a few minutes I will be having coffee with my brother of whom wants more information about our ancestry because I'm the only member of the family with a decent memory and he needs it to pass it on to future generations.
Other than that, I got to prepare to shutdown two clubs for the winter break so that we can all enjoy our Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New years. This will take me about 2 weeks to do and I will be busy as a bee getting it done in a timely manner. I hope to have it done by Thanksgiving Eve.
And, start thinking about what to do in 2015 and I have already decided on going to see some friends in Los Angeles California and spend 3-5 days in Disneyland and proceed from there. I need to find out what would be the best time to see them and start planning my trip accordingly.
Then, Hawaii later on - possibly next September.
So, there you have it ... so I better get my "thinking cap" on so I can start helping with my brother with our ancestry and come back later and hopefully Dr. Poison will have Titans of Justice #2 ready and proceed my day as the best I possibly can.

Woke up about 40 minutes ago. There's a honeydo list but it's what I signed up for. I took off 4 days to attend to my wife who is recuperating from surgery. I intend to continue cataloging my long boxes in a while, but boy is the attic cold.

I really should not work on the weekends. I mean, I should just not even answer emails because: GRRRRRR.

But if I did, I'd get a flood in my inbox of emails from people "HELLO!!!! I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE YOU GOT MY LAST EMAIL. I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM YOU" every 20 minutes. Then I'd get the, "I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS SUPER BUSY THERE OR WHAT, BUT YOU HAVE NOT ANSWERED MY EMAIL. THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I JUST WANT A PHOTO OF MY COLLAR." This is why I work out everyday. It helps me avoid the rage.  |
