Eating a breakfast burrito in my car while I wait for today's anti-racism protest to start.

Watching 1980's music videos on VH1 Classic ("Cars" by Gary Nyman is on right now, following "Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran). This is such a fun way to start my Saturday. Will be making a big pot of hazelnut coffee soon before heading out to do a little bargain comic shopping. One of the LCS is having an anniversary sale today, with $1 books at 50% off, so I'll be hunting some more Flash back issues. Which store is having that sale? Assuming that I don't get arrested today, I need something to do this afternoon.

Eide's is having their annual anniversary sale right now as well, but theirs runs through the 17th, while this one is today only.

Sitting at home and enjoying the silence from a full house of guests as they travel into NYC.

My wife and I are in process of doing a massive spring cleaning, stuff purge and started tackling the basement yesterday. Decided to get rid of a lot of the rpg stuff we haven't touched in years. Did some digging today, and was very happily surprised to just find out that Lonestar will take a lot of the issues of Dragon and Dungeon magazines we were looking to get rid of in trade. Have to start getting ready for work now, but tomorrow is a day off and I will start entering in the books to see what I can get form them.

Forgot to drop my resume off a couple towns over today. Have interviews the opposite direction for the next two days. It will be Thursday before I get out that way again

My favorite Republican blogger had some interesting things to say about racism today: goplifer.com/2016/04/12/not-all-racists-are-racist/

I'm creating a new list of 50 of my favorite animal characters from cartoons, DC and Marvel Comics, and elsewhere of which I can think of the moment and I have already gotten 20 characters lined up and I will be sharing those thoughts in the CLASSIC COMICS DISCUSSION and I should have it ready by May. I will go through all 50 in 2 months with my own personal thoughts behind each character.

Celebrating my younger daughter's 8th birthday with my parents, my sister, and one of my wife's brothers, who was in town this weekend to run a 5K with my wife.
It's moments like this that make life all worthwhile.

Got home from work a little bit ago, and am now making final preparations getting ready to go to Buckeye Con tomorrow. Hopefully I'll find some cool stuff, but supposed to meet up with the Captain too, so it should be a good day. Checked my lists, got my directions to get there all set, pulled money out of my comic jar to bring with me, etc. etc. now to get some sleep soon so I can be on the road early...
