Just finished my shopping list, so now I'm heading out to get the groceries for the week.
After I get back and get everything put away, the wife and I are heading out to buy fixtures for our new powder room.

After I get back and get everything put away, the wife and I are heading out to buy fixtures for our new powder room. + 100 for husbands who do grocery shopping. Mine does the grocery shopping as well, but I typically make the list or he'll just come home with a ton of processed boxed foods and junk food. hahahaha. And I can guarantee at LEAST 3 texts and one phone call while he's at the store. |

I do the grocery shopping because I do 90% of the cooking and I know what I need to make the meals as well as to stock the pantry. My wife and I used to shop together B.C. (before children), but it's just easier for me to do it myself now. |

Watching Adam West's Batman Series - and having a ball seeing the episodes digitally enhanced and restored. It's night and day seeing the differences and the colors really stands out. I'm enjoying each and everyone of these shows and feeling like a kid again.

Getting ready to take my kid to the hospital; surgery is scheduled for noon.
Naturally, because problems love to act as a team, the front door handle fell to pieces yesterday evening. Our choice is now to either find a locksmith at 7h20 on a Sunday morning or to leave it as is until we come back.
I hope the cat will prove to be a good guard dog!

Finishing up my lunch before diving back into an afternoon of work putting together a presentation for senior management tomorrow about cost-reduction strategies. I'm lower management, so it's nice that we have a relatively flat organization that allows me to interact with VPs and higher on a regular basis; I've been places before where you never even saw upper management except at company-wide meetings or maybe once a year to present your annual project plan.

Well, my car broke down last night, and I also definitely came down with a cold, or maybe the flu. So today I was supposed to check the car and see if there's anything I can do, but I just don't feel like it. I think I work tomorrow.

Wondering how my 11 year old son and wife can sit and watching necks being ripped out, heads bashed in, brains blown out and flesh ripped off bones with Walkimg Dead. I realize I have and may never had the stomach for zombie gore.

I don't have the flu, but my cold will probably stick around for another couple days.
The car needs a $150 repair that has to be done out of town. It doesn't need it right away, but I'm going to have it done right away just so I don't get any more scares in parking lots. It's a software patch for the transmission. Sounds ridiculous, and also sounds like something that should be free.
