Having a "date night" with my older daughter. We're seeing Big Hero 6, then hitting Five Guys for burgers and fries afterwards for dinner. Really looking forward to hanging out with her tonight, as we don't get to do this very often.

Taking it easy today, had a busy day yesterday with Christmas with my family and a late night dinner with my girlfriend for Christmas with her Parents. Watching TV and enjoying the Batman DVD that was restored - incredible colors and enjoying it very much.

Power's out right now, so we're making due this morning without electricity. It's a little cold in the house, but I got a fire going so it should warm up soon.

I feel like I may be coming down with something too. Woke up not feeling great. But after a shower, some medicine, and a meal I'm feeling better. I hope it doesn't continue to get worse though.

I've felt a little like I've been battling a cold-like thing for the past week. But it hasn't actually come out into a full cold and I've basically felt fine. However, my gf has come down with a sore throat and runny nose this evening, so I'll be trying my best over the next few days to avoid catching whatever she's got.
As a singer, catching a cold is a REALLY big deal for me. If it's a bad one, it could potentially see me unable to work and therefore cause me to loose money.
