Prepping food for our Christmas celebration with my wife's family. One of her brothers is a fire chief out in Ohio and gets every other weekend off, so he and his wife come out the second weekend of December to gather with the other two brothers, my wife, and assorted nieces and nephews.
We don't do a formal meal, because that really isn't their style, so it's all finger foods and snacky stuff.
Right now, I cutting veggies. Particularly, I'm chopping broccoli.

Wondering how I managed not to get kick off facebook for calling someone a condescending, arrogant, comic-nerd dickhole. Word to the wise: If a person relatively new to comics (and who doesn't have the ability to devote every waking moment of her life to comics) asks a question, if you don't want to be insulted, try either answering the question politely or simply do not bother addressing it all. No one wants to be treated like an idiot for simply not knowing something and asking a question. It's not like I asked how to breathe. I would say some people forget it's fiction. You should here some of the stories my wife tells me about these fan gals of Supernatural. And those two real people playing fictional characters and some can't seperate the two. In this hobby they're all fictional characters at least (I guess unless people start latching on to the people in the movies anyway) but anyone that feels the need to demean another human being over something fictional isn't much of a human themselves. |

Watching my first episode of Walking Dead. My son's been watching it for some time. I find one of the characters whose daughter just got chased off by zombies praying to god in a church they found one of the most baffling displays of human behavior. The worlds run over by flesh eating zombies and she still believes in god. I've lost that notion long ago and I've never even been in a post apocalyptic world.

New Bond movie? Awesome. Had to look it up and make sure Daniel Craig was still Bond. I've been loving his take on the character.
