Nightwing. Liked the talk between Bruce & Dick. Wasn't a fan of the Titans being the "new" Justice League. I also dislike Heartless. Fantastic art.
World's Finest. Beautiful art. Not sure I like that Thunder turned out to be Magog.
Stargirl. Love the character and most of the story. Just not a fan of the idea that every hero in the 40's had a sidekick.
Shazam. Best this week. I want more. Art was phenomenal. Loved to see Mary in the spotlight for once.
Strange. Ending was a bit weak. It was all solved with a kiss between Clea and Strange? Especially after telling us they couldn't touch or reality would be destroyed. The title gets re-launched next month with both being the stars.
Namor. I want more of this future glimpse into Namor's life decades from now. I also like any title that features Jim Hammond.

I don't know if the Titans are the new Justice League per say, it felt like a place holder while he thinks on what Bruce, Clark and Diana said to him. The reveal with Gog was definitely not something I was expecting from the start but I'm interested to see what he does with it as I'm a big fan of Kingdom Come.

I wasn't going to pick up any more of the Lazurus Planet tie ins after really hating the World of Krypton one that came out this week but I'll be picking up the Shazam one because I really want more Mary Marvel. I hope that between the sales of this series and the Lazurus Planet tie in they give her an ongoing.

Read of the week
Wasp #1 Al Ewing continues his streak of great series of the original Avengers. If you didn't read the Ant-Man mini, I highly recommend picking that up. Ewing showcases my favorite Marvel character, Janet Van Dyne. What's great about Ewing with these legacy stories he's creating, he pulls from all parts of the history. This time bringing in the backstory of her origin but also making it come back to haunt her many years later, after her father's death. Also tying in her stepdaughter, Nadia van Dyne (the Unstoppable Wasp) to this as well. It's what you expect from Ewing. Artist Kasia Nie is beautifully suited for this adventure of the Wasp. Clean and wonderful.

So, Nightwing I enjoyed the issue.. even if it was obvious what was going to happen. Also, 100% tired of Heartless, he could not exist and the book would be just as good. Anyway, you guys kinda buried the lead here... Dawn of DC
If I was to go by the ads.... and this story in Nightwing... this sure does sound like a full on soft re-boot.. no? Steelworks??? I'm in. Seems like there HAS to be a new Titans book too... though not annouced yet... but will it replace Nightwing? or be a 2nd title? I guess we'll see.
the previews seem to indiciate Billy's back as Captain Marvel though.

It's really hard to tell just what is going on with DC as this softish reboot has happened out side the major con season so there hasn't been a dedicated space to do a media blitz on what is going on. It's very weird.

I agree... the ad in Nightwing was the first I've seen of it.. and I think it was the first alot of people saw.. there was an announcement in November that didn't do much and a couple articles this week when previews came out, but VERY little info And the info is odd..like, it shows Jo Mullein in the ad, but they advertise a Hal Jordan and a John Stewart book? It's not even clear is Nightwing is continuing honestly. Edit: apparently there's a cover for Nightwing 101, features what I consider the true Titans lineup (Donna Troy, Wally West, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven and Nightwing) That is pretty good,, especially more Dick/Jon Kent time (Which is what the preview says)...102 seems to be the Titans vs. Neron? This is a good thing.. though if they're going to make it the Titans they should say so

Giant T-shaped Towers are usually a little permanent.. more than on storyline at least? Maybe not, the way DC likes to destroy things lately

Maybe not, the way DC likes to destroy things lately I think the tower will likely stay, but I think Taylor said the Titans story isn't that long. I'm hoping for Dick solo adventures and a new Titans book, I man if Batman can have solo books and Justice League so can Dick.
