Maybe we can start a thread where members can post their banner work, other members can comment, and I can pick some, at my discretion, to throw up at the top. I just don't want to create the expectation that they would always be used. I wouldn't want to create any disappointment or hurt feelings. Oooh, great idea! I love me an excuse to throw some idle time into Photoshop especially when the subject matter interests me, and I am interested in some comics, yes, Sir. |

We had one as per your original suggestion, and I made it as slow as any free GIF editor would allow, and people were still bothered by it. The plan (once I can find some free time again) is to use java to have a different banner load up every time you log on. Finding the right code and plugging it in isn't hard; understanding the existing java and css code on this board and having new code interface with it properly is something entirely different. |

I like the banner we have, but I think it would be cool if it switched to a series of different covers every now and then. Maybe even themed.
An all DC superhero one, an all Marvel superhero one, an all EC horror one, an all Archie humor one, so on.
