10. The Triumvirate of Terror10. Evilheart and Mad Doctor DoomI'm not really that big a fan of the Super-Teens, but I do enjoy occasionally the team-up of Reggie, in his Evilheart persona, and Mad Doctor Doom! I considered doing a team-up of Reggie and Betty just as their regular selves, because they teamed up for some real underhanded schemes back in the 50s, but I decided to stick with the supervillain version of Reggie How did they get away with using the name Dr. Doom ? I'm not entirely sure, but it's possible Marvel may not have had the trademark yet, as Mad Doctor Doom made his debut the same month as Fantastic Four #8. I'm just guessing though.

There were at least two Dr. Dooms in the Golden Age--one hero, one villain--so Goodman may have decided any legal action would've been on shaky ground. That and the Archie and Marvel versions were so visually different and operated in such different contexts that there wasn't much chance of readers confusing the two.
Cei-U! I summon the best guess!

#10 Loki and Karnilla, in many many issues of Thor from the Silver Age and beyond What can I say? They're both malevolent, crafty, devious--and far more interesting to me than Thor and Sif and Balder were. I'll start by posting this, a favorite Kirby-Colletta image of the two, from Thor #167 . They became important co-stars of the Thor series; but since they're so much alike their partnership frequently had its ups and downs; and Karnilla's feelings for Balder got in the way too, at least in Loki's eyes. Thor #170 But don't worry; they get back together -- when it suits their purposes. {Spoiler: Click to show} Thor #188 Buscema, baby!

So Karnilla grasps Loki's horn and urges it to grow? Maybe Dr. Wertham was right!
