These were just some random NM bronze-age books that needed a home and I got them for just over a buck each. I think the Ms Marvel #2 by itself was worth more than the whole bundle.
If books are bronze-age, 'like new' and that cheap I might just scoop them up.....

Nice bunch of books there. That OSS Kubert cover is a particular favorite of mine. -M

I just picked up this beautiful oversized Fantagraphics volume of EC Ray Bradbury stories for my wife (she also reads comics and is a huge Bradbury fan). Lots of great art by Frazetta, Wood, Williamson, and several others on really nice quality paper. I'm going to need to borrow this from my wife when she's done reading! I also picked up a couple of volumes for myself. This Zot book is a fun phonebook style complete collection of the B&W period (so the material after the first 10 color issues).

I'm sure I'll eventually get that Bradbury book. I'm just waiting for it at the right price. I bought the reprint edition of Bravo For Adventure not super long ago. Just glorious art...and I like the setting. Toth wasn't a really great writer though.

I ordered a few more for my 1970s Action Comics collection.
Action Comics #454, #459, #464, #467
They cost $3 to $4 each, and I saved on shipping by getting three from the same dealer.
I probably should have passed on #454 because of the shipping. But have you seen it? It’s the one where Superman is eating a bunch of cheeseburgers BECAUSE REASONS!! I had to have that!

This was one of those right time, right place deals that make certain back-issue dealers bury their heads in their hands in despair.
Before she morphed into Vicki at Atlas Comics, she was known as Tippy Teen, and I got a nice copy of #1 from 1965.
My source in England got it from someone in Suffolk who sells toys, comics etc without going into extremes that a dealer would.
We got it for £5.00. Hoping to have similar luck with Binki.

Got a small order in the mail today from Lonestar. I found 2 Darwyn Cooke issues and a Moebius cover that were on my want list and then rounded it off with some stuff from their weekly dollar sale. So for Darwyn, I got Minutemen 6-I had skipped all the Before Watchmen stuff, even the Darwyn stuff because of the whole debate over this stuff when it came out figuring there's be plenty of other Darwyn stuff I could get in the future, but alas we know how that went, so I decided to finally track these down, I picked up 1-5 at a show for a $1 each, but hadn't seen 6, so I grabbed it from Lonestar. I also found out, he did an Ant-Man story in Marvel Double Shot #3 that I knew nothing of, so when I found out about I looked and Lonestar had it in stock at a reasonable price so I put it in my cart until I had enough to make an order worthwhile. I then got an alert that the Marvel Age issue with the Moebius Silver Cover was in stock and amazingly it wasn't super over-priced like they are on ebay, so I decided to pull the trigger on these 3 books, but I went through the weekly dollar sale to see if there was anything worth adding to round out shipping and found a Gemstone EC reprint and some filler issues off my want list to add. I should also have 2 ebay shipments coming within a week or so, so until then, happy hunting. -M

I ordered a couple more 1970s Superman comics. Superman #320 and Action Comics #500.
And I put in a low bid on Action Comics #457. That’s the infamous “WTF?” cover with - well, you know. It’s one of the worst out-of-context covers of all.

Time to take a calculated gamble...so I did something I wouldn't ordinarily do pre 2023....I plonked $30 on a book with a stain on the back cover.
Why? Because the flaw put it in a price range that was well below other copies....so I thought why not...and I'm going to attempt to have it cleaned and then pressed.
Here's the front, let me know if you think I'm a madwoman, or if it's so crazy it just might work

@hots, I don't see any downside, it's cool you have an original copy now and stain's only on the back (can't even see with a backing board). If it clean up well, all the better! Nice score.

Was at the LCS yesterday and wound up picking these up for $15 each, which is a good price on these... Also got a mail call yesterday, one of the 2 smallish ebay orders I bought, this one was mostly from the DC adventures line of stuff based on the Timm animated series-Superman and Gotham Adventures, plus another Kitchen Sink Spirit knocked off the list. the other order should arrive early next week. -M
