According to my account on Comics Hub through my lcs, I have 3 books being pulled for me this week- Usagi Yojimbo #30 World's Finest #6 Scooby Doo, Where Are You? #117 Not sure when I will get to the shop to pick them up though, as I was just there last week. -M Missed one that was in the e-mail I just got from the shop, but not really a new comic per se-the Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 facsimile edition is out this week too and I had ordered a copy. -M The recent bout of facsimiles is fun, I deeply considered getting the Sandman one today at the shop.

Batman / Superman: World's Finest #6Written by Mark Waid Art by Travis Moore Summary: Displaced in time Robin goes back to his roots and joins a circus to get by on his own, but his past returns as crime strikes the bigtop! Where have I heard this story before...? Another lazy time travel story with no pay-off. I'm more than a little sad to see Nightwing falling out of your good graces, btw. While I haven't bitten the bullet and started reading it myself, it was comforting to know that someone was writing a consistently high quality bat book in 2022.

It definitely brought to mind that very story, I meant to check to see if you had reviewed it even but hadn't gotten around to it. Waid was absolutely aware of it as he even included a lion tamer as a central part of the story and Superman stripped out of his costume to play a strong man in the circus while Dick worked on the mystery. Amusingly Batman only felt he needed to lose his cape to fit in as Robin's aerialist partner. And while the time travel was indeed fairly pointless and was resolved too easily it was still pretty fun as a one off as I really loved the nostalgic feeling it played into. As for my feelings on Nightwing, while the conclusion did feel a little "been there, seen that" over all it's still the best Nightwing has probably been in nearly twenty years. With how horrid Nightwing has been treated that doesn't sound like a high bar to clear but the run is really wholesome and upbeat so I'm not likely to drop it in the near future.

Busy week so just really quick comments.I liked World's Finest (continues with the old school feel). Nightwing (can't wait to see how Taylor deals with that last page reveal). Strange (with a Moon Knight team up!) Was really good. Was a bit let down by Hulk (conclusion of Thor crossover) because it felt confusing and was not a good ending. Daredevil #650 was also a bit of a jumbled mess.

I am very concerned about the last page reveal of Nightwing. It never should have happened (was Bludhaven not crawling with Superheroes), but setting aside that silliness, not sure how they Taylor's going to get out of the corner he painted himself into... I guess we'll see.
Usagi in the midst of a pretty epic story right now, I agree it meandered a bit, but the last couple have been great!

Yeah, your major villain learning your identity is a well tread plot-line so making it feel fresh and new will be a challenge.

not only that.. but he got squished.. he SHOULD be pretty injured. Yeah, that's another rough one, you just know he's going to get better and quickly so serious injuries always make me roll my eyes.
