Anyone reading the current Batman book? I scrolled through CBR today and saw an article about Batman 121 that seems to have Maps (from Gotham Academy) in it... this makes me very happy.
Is it any good?

Is it any good? Williamson's Batman story was decent, but the back up with Maps was absolutely fantastic. It's worth picking up just to see her pester Batman and solve a legitimate mystery on her own.

Cool! they seem to go back 3 months, so I grabbed them today... I'll probably read them tomorrow after I make my store trip for the week.

Read these today... Maps is awesome as usual.. very good story, and I LOVE that they've got her integrated into the DCU proper now. I was thinking though, while it's fun seeing her in a Robin outfit, shouldn't Batman point her in Barbara Gordon's direction... her skills warrant that she would be a way better Oracle than a Robin. (Of course, she doesn't really do computers, but still...) Also, how fun would that be? Now I totally want to see her kicking around Dick's apartment in Bludhaven hanging out with Barbara doing Oracle things, or analyzing data for her.
The Batman story with Abyss was decent, though I'd have preferred some explanation of exactly what Abyss' powers and such where other than 'because Lex Corp'. It was nice seeing The Bat-Man of China again too, even if he was drawn too skinny and literally only wallpaper.. if someone is thinking of him, maybe Super-Man will find his way into a story again at some point too.
