Wuss! You can't celebrate the great without also slogging through the mediocre.

You can't celebrate the great without also slogging through the mediocre. I LOVE reviewing mediocre. I just need to decide WHICH mediocre to slog through

I voted for the post-Crisis Justice League. I'd enjoy reading your take on the "Bwa-ha-ha" League as well as the Morrison/Porter version.
Cei-U! I summon the curiosity!

Batman 1955 to 1978
You barely started it!
And you haven’t gotten to Batwoman, the Mad Hatter, the Mirror Man, etc.

I voted for Valiant. No one has really tackled that in-depth so far.

The 1950s Batman thread has four comic book reviews ... and nine pages of comments, some of them quite lengthy. The people who like that thread had a lot to say about it!

Batman 1955-78!
I have no reason to believe that you'd enjoy continuing this thread any more than any other you've started (or have yet to start) and admit that my interest is due almost entirely to how much I love this era and the character as opposed to thinking it's right for you, but...
I say "almost entirely due" because if I recall correctly, Golden and Silver Age DC is a little outside of your comfort zone (at least for long periods) and I'm interested in watching you Marty McFly your way through the era. Having tremendously enjoyed your take and thoughts on Batman in a post-Miller and Moore world I'd love to see you navigate your way through Jack Schiff and Dick Sprang's for a bit.
Course, it would mean juggling two other Batman threads while making this one your primary focus and hey, what better way to say "I hate you Chad - go @#%^ yourself!" than to dangle the possibility of revving up this thread only to decide otherwise, but hey, if you hate me that much, go ahead and pick something else - your call!

I voted for New Mutants and Hal Jordan. I've been thinking of reading New Mutants from the beginning, so this would be some motivation to follow along. Hal Jordan from the beginning through GLC #224 was big project in early 2020, so I anticipate participating a lot in that thread. I do recognize that the Silver Age stuff will be a mixed bag. Some will be fun and some will be eye-rollingly ridiculous. But at the proposed pace, I think you read through a variety of stories.

I voted for the Doug Moench because that's the one that interests me the most. I'm not into most of the DC stuff and know nothing about Valiant. But I'll look at everything: who knows, maybe I'll be inspired to give somemthing a try that I wouldn't have thought of before.

I keep toying with the idea of going back to it, but I just haven't felt the urge in ages. It may still happen this year, but probably not as a big push where I give it a ton of my time.

What, and piss off my #1 fan? Your vote counts twice as much as everyone else's, sir
