I went with Kraven and Doctor Octupus. My favourite visual design is Mysterio, but the character himself doesn't quite live up to the look. The Scorpion and maybe the Goblin would round out my top 5, though not 100% decided on that 5th spot.

I voted for Rhino and Mysterio, but I really wish I had a third vote so I could vote for Sandman. I'm pleasantly surprised to find to find that Doc Ock and Green Goblin aren't running away with this. I might have picked Green Goblin had he not died before I could even walk. I’ve never even acknowledged he returned after being dead 2 decades. Hey, two decades - that's longer than most comic book characters stay dead!

Hey, where's the Tarantula?! Yeah, I was trying to choose a "most common" list, but I hated leaving the Tarantula off. One of my earliest Spidey memories is him on the cover of Peter Parker #1, always loved that costume.

Kraven. Kraven's Last Hunt was the first comic (the part where Kraven is fighting a giant spider made up of thousands of other spiders) I ever read before I actually started buying them. It made quite the impression and scare (I dont like spiders) for a all ages comic. Many years later I described that panel to the owner of the LCS I was going to at the time, and he knew exactly what I was talking about. And fortunately had all four issues in stock so I could read it that day.
Lizard would be my second choice. And my first exposure to him was McFarlane's Spider-Man issues. Which I know aren't super popular on this site :-) but I liked the more monsters and lizard like appearance that McFarlane used.
I also liked McFarlane's uses of Calypso in said story in the first issues of the Spider-Man title. And the (I can't remember if Kraven does come back or not) threat of Karven being alive after being thought dead.
Rhino would probably be #3. It's a really versatile character and I like all the different "versions" of him from comics, movies, shows and even video games.
