According to the official list, this one hasn't been done yet, but there are plenty of examples out there.
The official name of the statue is "Liberty Enlightening the World"-- a gift made to people of the USA on behalf of the people of France-- dedicated in 1886.
Post a cover featuring this iconic statue in whole or in part, or even featuring a character posing as the statue... as long as it is clearly recognizable as an image or homage to the statue.
However, the cover must clearly be related to the statue itself, not just the name (for example, a cover featuring Miss Liberty or Liberty Belle won't cut it unless they are actually emulating the statue in dress or pose)
Daredevil #45, Oct. 1968-- Marvel Comics Group

The Cover Contest Constitution: - Post one, and only one, classic cover that fits the theme of the contest. - Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume published before December 14, 2011. - Please include also the title and the issue number of the comic in case some posters cannot see your image. - Covers must be posted before voting begins. - Voting takes place on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, beginning at 12:01am PST and ending at 11:59am PST. - Vote by posting the name of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most. - Put the name of your choice in bold. - The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period ends. - The winner chooses the theme for the next week's contest. - If you don't think the cover fits the theme, don't vote for it; please don't post disparaging remarks about it. - If a cover is more recent than the classic time frame, kindly point it out to the poster, who may then choose an alternate before voting begins.
Have fun, everyone! I've already got a few in mind that I'm hoping will be posted.

Surprised that this one's still available, since I figured it would be everyone's go-to after Kamandi #1 got snapped up: Doomsday +1 #1 (Charlton, 1975)

hah! mine is also Buckler. . and same orange sky. maybe he just likes that color scheme. Maybe the same colourist at least. The GCD does not identify the colourist for either cover, but orange skies seem to have been a bit of a staple for DC covers in the late 70s/early 80s.
