Alrighty, to get the ball rolling with wish lists... I am really open to anything, especially new discoveries, but somethings on my radar that are newish and not likely thought of... Marvel Legends 3.75 Retro figures line-I've discovered I adore this line but it's hard to find in the wild. I have a bunch but thus far Loki and Vision have eluded me Marvel Prose Novels- Aconyte books has been putting out a new line of Marvel Prose novels the last couple of years, with a couple different imprints/lines-Marvel Untold, Marvel Heroines, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Legends of Asgard and Xavier's Institute. I've been curious to sample some, but our library isn't getting them so I haven't yet. There's a couple titles in particular that intrigue me (Witches Unleashed, a couple of Doom novels, an Elsa Bloodstone novel, Shadow Avengers, the Asgard stuff) more than the others, but I'd just be curious to sample any of the line Fantasy art books (particularly sowrd & sorcery, Tolkien or D&D related) of most sorts or vintage paperback cover art related Other than that pretty much anything related to Toth, Frazetta, Kubert, Darwyn Cooke, Will Eisner, Matt Baker, Stan Sakai, Robert E. Howard, Flash Gordon, Phantom, or other things that I often talk about would tickle my fancy. I tend to avoid listing specific back issues in these kinds of things, because my lists are large and constantly changing, but anyone who looks at my posts in What Classic Comics Have You Purchased Lately can get a sense of my preferences. But again, I am open to discovering new things and love the idea of discovering a potential new favorite I knew nothing about, that's part of the fun of holiday gift exchanges. -M

Ooh? Wishlists. Let's see.
1. Anything Atlas/Seaboard except for Planet of Vampires (which I already have)
2. Anything obscure and Bronze Age, especially horror titles that aren't from Warren or Marvel.
3. Anything at all Atom Age. I have pretty much nothing from this era.
4. Magic the gathering cards. My whole family plays regularly. Doesn't matter the color or the set it's from; we can use it.
5. Vintage action figures of pretty much any kind up through the 1990s (except McFarlane stuff).
6. Pretty much any Silver or Bronze age DC books that aren't Batman, Detective, or the Titans. I just haven't explored enough of this stuff.
7. Any GOOD Disney ducks stuff not written by Barks or Rosa.
8. Vintage non-superhero books. Licensed cartoons and tv shows, romance, teen humor, funny animals, horror, sci-fi, etc.
9. ANY old issues of Superheroes Monthly (DC U.K.), Amazing Heroes, or other comic mag with awesome covers.
10. ReAction figures! Especially G.I. Joe and Phantom Starkiller, but nearly any of them!
And, of course, I'm very open to surprises that aren't on the list. I'll appreciate the effort no matter what you go with for me.

I don't buy any Marvel really, and haven't bought much DC lately. . so anythign in the past 4-5 years from these publishers are likely things I haven't read tho honestly, I'm very curious about "Something is Killing the Children" - never read is..so maybe a trade from that would be a good gift? I'm easy. . I like most anything. non-comic? Theme Park Stuff is always fun too (big fan of Disney's Haunted Mansion in particular). and love horror/80's slasher stuff. also big fan of melodic Meal (aka: Hair Metal) and y'all know I'm a huge KISS fan. not super helpful, I know. . but as said, I'm pretty easy as there's not much I don't like. (other than Kirby stuff. . I'll actually say that out loud: not a Kirby art fan, and find most all of his material boring as heck. . so please no Eternals, 4th World stuff. . I like Kamandi, but have full run of that) and that's a "stream of consciousness" wish list.

Ok we've got 8 solid. Which is about average for this event. The only two regular participants in this event we haven't heard frm are two that haven't been around much lately, so I am not sure they will see this before the deadline, but I am going to tag them both again here just to see... hondobrodepinkfloydsound17(ironically just as I started typing the latter of those two, On the Turning Away by Pink Floyd started playing on the music streaming service I had up, hopefully its not prophetic) -M

To keep my wish list easy: any old comics printed on newsprint that aren't superhero or based on TV cartoons.

I have to admit, I'm somewhat difficult to buy for... not because there's not stuff that I like, but because my floppy collection is so large already. However, some sure bets are:
floppies:
--Any Charlton romance, western, horror or war title (even if I already have a copy, I don't mind duplicates with these books due to the fact that finding them at all in decent shape is a challenge)
--Any gold/silver/bronze DC romance, western, horror or war title-- also, still trying to complete the entire DC '71-72 catalog. Books that I still need are listed HERE. Also trying to complete the entire DC "Dollar Comics" series-- books that I still need are listed HERE.
--Any gold/silver/bronze Marvel romance, western, horror or war title
--Any gold/silver/bronze independent romance, western, horror or war title
--Any Archie title with an Al Fagely or Harry Lucey cover.
--DC Elseworlds titles-- list of books I'm looking for is HERE.
I could get more specific, but since my want list currently has well over 1,000 books on it, it would be pointless to do so.
probably easier stuff to source:
Bronze, silver or gold-era Trade reprints-- hardcover, softcover, color, b/w, no matter... and I certainly don't mind "gently pre-loved" copies either. I'm not picky about "new vs. used" copies, price sticker residue, etc as long as the book is complete.
Any book on comics history (including newspaper strips) from the aforementioned bronze/silver/gold eras.
I'm not big on toys and figures, but I have a very select few... as far as figures go, I'm always on the lookout for classic versions of The Spectre, Starman, Doctor Fate, Hawkman, Hourman, Dr. Mid-Nite, The Spirit, G.A. Sandman, things like that. In terms of figures, the general rule is that I prefer a "classic" version of a character over the "modern" version 99% of the time. Exceptions to this are characters who obviously came well after the silver age-- Jonah Hex, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Rocketeer, etc.
One item in particular that I have been looking for, is a Blu-Ray disc that is now apparently out of print-- good luck finding a copy.
"Will Eisner: Portrait of a Sequential Artist"
I also have a huge Amazon wish list, but since this is "Secret Santa" I couldn't very well share it without discovering the giver's identity.

If I draw your name, You are getting a Liefeld character toy with the feet ripped off... for canonical accuracy. I might even throw in a few extra pouches and over-scale weapons to complete the package.
