Conan #25/300.
Marvel's Conan series hits #300! (275 from the 1970 series + this series 25).
The first story is 12 pages by Jim Zub & Cory Smith with Conan & Belit together on an adventure.
Story #2 is by Larry Hama that is 6 pages and takes place in Conan's younger days.
Story #3 is by Dan Slott & Marcos Martin and is also 6 pages with no dialogue.
Christopher Priest has the last story that leads into Conan's next series in DEC... King Conan.
Overall I felt this a lackluster anniversary issue especially compared to DC's recent anniversary issues. All the stories were just OK. Priest's story was the one I enjoyed the most.

Priest's story was definitely the best of the bunch...and did I read you right, did you say Priest is writing more Conan in December!? If so, I'm fully on board with that.

My apologies. What mrp said is correct. It is a six issue series.

Not that Aaron is terrible but I love Priest.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation #3Written by Tim Sheridan Art by Mindy Lee Summary: As the evil Skeletor continues to eavesdrop on Castle Grayskull while Evil-Lyn reflects on her past. Plot: While I've been enjoying the series so far in this latest issue Tim Sheridan takes a sadly often made mistake: giving the audience an origin they never really needed. While I enjoyed the more sympathetic take on Evil-Lyn in the recent cartoon I really didn't need her to have a sympathetic origin, and when the one given boils down down to girl was abused by her parents so evil was the only outcome it just really misses the mark. The idea that she is the victim of circumstance just isn't done well and it's such an over used ploy that even it was written really well it still would have been at risk for feeling flat...and when it's done by less than really well it's nigh unreadable. Art: the only saving grace here is Mindy Lee's art, while not given a whole lot to do the characters are really well done and look every bit as lively as if they were animated. Grade:6/10

Grade:6/10 Are there any mainstream American villains left that are evil to be evil and not because of some external factor? Maybe the Joker? Sure, he could have been a mild mannered every-man before falling into the vat but he also could have been a career criminal too, and any way you slice it he hasn't been given any real redeeming qualities since then. Some of it I think comes down to the fact that bad guys who do bad things for bad guy reasons are pretty one note, so you need to come up with some reason to add a little something to them, but a lot of the time I think writers go too far in making the villains sympathetic to the point that its just as boring as the one dimensional mustache twirling bad guy.
