I have been selling using eBay lately but after today’s 15%charge I’ve decided I’ve had enough! Does anyone else know a good way to sell? I've been selling vintage tabletop rpg supplements and miniatures for the last month and a half but have avoided ebay altogether (except as a reference for going rates). I was invited to a facebook group dedicated to RPG auctions and have been selling there. The only fees are those associated with paypal. It does not have however, some of the protections ebay offers buyers and sellers. My suggestion would be to search facebook groups for one dedicated to buying and selling what you are trying to sell, I know of more than a few dedicated to buying and selling comics, and have heard of some for selling vintage and modern toys as well. Not sure what you have been selling, but there might be some options for you on that route. -M

I’ve never used eBay (it seems way too buyer-friendly), but I’ve sold books on Facebook and never had any issues.

I don't mind paying ebay fees. It's the admission price for being able to tap such a large market of folks looking to up your bids. I think the best solution outside of ebay is setting up at a toy show, depending on availability in your area. The up front cost is high, but you make a ton by the end of the weekend. The downside is it requires a lot of time/work to set up, and you have to have a large inventory.
As for facebook groups, I agree with @mrp that the downside is a total lack of protections, including personal info. I've had my share of truly bad transactions on ebay, but none of those folks could look up what city I live in and where I work.
