I did a Trip Report over on Theme Park Review (the other site I consider my "home" for forums) about my recent trip to Kings Island for Coasterstock 7/9-7/10 Some folks here (in the "Meanwhile" thread mainly, know I was going so figured I'd link to the Trip report if any of y'all are interested in following along. I've only got 3/4ths of the 1st day up - I type a LOT - but lots of pics along with the commentary if anyone is interested. LOL

We went there once, in the late 70s, when it was still owned by Taft Broadcasting, who owned the Hanna-Barbera Studio and used the H-B characters in the park (as featured on episodes of the Partridge Family and The Brady Bunch, and the second season of the Banana Splits Show, though that was the original Coney Island park that evolved into King's Island). My mother had a real estate convention, in Cincinnati, and the rest of us went to various tourist sites while she was in meetings and seminars. We went there, the Cincinnati Zoo, and over to Dayton, for the Wright brother's shop & museum and to Wright-Patterson AFB, for the air museum.
