The Good Asian #2 by Pornsak Pichetshote & Alexandre Tefenkgi A little bit of a let down from the first issue. Edison Hark gets drawn further in to an series of apparent tong related murders as he tries to make progress on his missing persons case. A tiny bit more background on the character dribbles out. The seller here is the general atmosphere and the history. Still well worth a read. I still need to pick this one up, the art looks amazing and the concept seems right up my ally.

Weirdly mostly big 2 comics for me this week:
Space Bastards #6 : Done in one story in an AA meeting...very Transmet still. Not quite as good, as it lacks the satire (more absurdist humor, with just a bit of satire), but well worth it.
Strange Academy #11 : A legit guest appearance by Howard the Duck, which was interesting. Seems like a good story in the making, but they really need a bit of happiness soon.
Super Sons #3 : Continues to be awesome... there's really no reason not to read Tomasi writing these two.
Action Comics #1040 : From a couple weeks ago.. I decided I wanted to keep on with the Warworld storyline. Had some Jon and Damian goodness here, too, which was a surprise (even if it's teenaged Jon). I'm definitely curious on where they're going with it.
Batman: The Detective #3 : Mostly a flashback to Bruce training with Henry Alucard... pretty good, if nothing earth shattering.

Tomasi does do a fantastic job writing Damian and Jon...but the time travel plot is just really oddly paced so I bowed out a few weeks ago on the digital version, hopefully it reads better when its all said and done.

I agree the plot is a bit odd.. Vandal Savage is a weird choice of foe. It doesn't really need a plot though, it's really all about the interaction between Jon and Damian.

Excalibur #21 Written by Tini Howard Art by Marcus To and Erick Arciniega
What Happened Before: Mutants have united and live nearly all on the island of Krakoa. The mutants of Excalibur guard a portal between Krakoa and the mystical Realm of Otherworld, home to the Captain Britain Corps.
Plot: Excalibur are invited to the Hellfire Gala, but Rictor is not in the mood for any parties. His mood is not much improved when his lover Shatterstar shows up after months of absence and covered in blood. Rogue is elected to be a member of the new X-Men. Pete Wisdom tells Betsy that in her absence, the anti-mutant Clan Akkaba have turned Britain's public opinion against her. Their leader, Brousseau, tells the Krakoans that Britain will no longer deal with Krakoa. Returning back to Britain, the Clan turn on Pete Wisdom and sacrifice him to free their patron, Morgana Le Fay. ALso returning to Britain, Rictor accepts his role as leader of the druids.
The Good: Not too much, I think my favourite is Nightcrawler overhearing Meggan and Brian Braddock and interpreting their conversation as Meggan being pregnant again.
The Bad: Not much happening here and the team falls further apart. This title has been floundering ever since Apocalypse left the team and now Rogue leaves to join the X-Men. Jubilee and Gambit have been mostly been background characters the past issues, while Rictor is just brooding and Betsy is still deciding who she is and what she wants. Pete Wisdom got overpowered real easily by Brousseau's men, by the way. His powers have been portrayed as more dangerous than that and he was never one to hold back against opponents.
