I detest scrolling through pages of qouted posts to find someone responded with one sentence. Not that difficult to edit folks. Are we all in such a rush or lazy?

"Winter is leaving.....""Yeah, be right there; just have to go back and fix this character's motivation and make adjustments to each chapter afterward...." "Spring is coming.....""Yeah, I had to dump the middle 4 chapters, split the book in half and rewrite the last third of the second half...." Hell is freezing over.....""I'll have the manuscript to you by next August, I swear; I have to take a couple of meetings with HBO, pick up some beard oil and another Greek fisherman's cap. Oh, it's going to be 4 volumes, instead of two, because I added some stuff about a side character who is incidental to the plot...." |
