Lots and lots of great choices this year, from james asking which comics we own the most copies of (and why), to spoon asking us about Publication chronology surprises, jason asking about the best year for Marvel each decade, dbutler69's Big Two Top Decade Event, and so much more, but my absolute favorite was rberman asking about The Greatest Robin Story Ever Told. Not only was it a truly fun idea for a thread, but Robin's that kind of character that most of us don't tend to think of as a solo protagonist, so we had to dig deep and, with 80 years of publication to work from, we came up with some pretty interesting and diverse stuff. I learned a lot from that one!

I'll go ahead and nominate dbutler69's Big Two Top Decade Event. It was an undertaking we hadn't seen before and generated a good amount of thoughtful discourse. Even though the outcome was clearly wrong.

Even though the outcome was clearly wrong. I will second the nomination for dbutler69 as well as recommend his seeing a good psychologist for attempting the event. And there is no wrong here, there is only discussion and ever changing choices. Truly the topic of which is best is ongoing in ANY talk and it will change EVERY time.

This might be an off the wall nomination but I submit The Great Dollar Bin Trading Challenge! Thread. This event and thread has absolutely captured my imagination and it feels extra special that Crimebuster has chosen CCF as it's home. My only complaint it that it moves too slow, I want updates every hour.

I wish to nominate classiccomics.org/thread/7157/devil-red-dress-on by mrp with him shining the spotlight on his specific comic book cover inspired purchasing hunt. It shows that there can be more to the elusive treasure seeking joy we found as a youngster for comic book collecting. If you make a decision uniquely your own, dedicated in keeping the thrill alive, then you never truly lose the fun and excitement. A great way for keeping comic collecting fresh and a personal pleasure for a long term experience. Makes for wonderful reading as MRP shows us his latest acquisitions and it is great that others have embraced his hunt, offering up suggestions and images for assisting on a fellow treasure hunting safari.

Late to the party but I'd like to nominate Berkley's The Eternal(s) Problem as it spotlighted a book I had never really gotten into before by discussing the topic of how writers have approached the characters over the years(with varying degrees of success). It's not a review thread in the classical sense but rather a discussion of sorts on how the sausage gets made.
