I think I have my twelve, although past experience tells me I will be tinkering with the list right up unril I start posting. (And sometimes even after that.)
I will be (pleasantly) surprised if two of my choices make it on to anyone else's. (It's a genre thing.)

I think every list will have my top two writers. I think that will be the case for my top two too.  I have a strong feeling one of my others won't make anyone's list. I have one writer that I think won't make anyone else's list , also. But that's what make the classic great. |

Well, I came up w/ a list of 17--the top 5 (maybe 8) are pretty much locked.
Top 3 are also artists; 3 of the top 4 are fine editors as well.

It suddenly dawned on me that this particular writer wrote other series in addition to the ones I will be lauding him for--series I haven't read but ones that I know others here have mentioned in the past. So we shall see... |

You know what's hard. The choice I need to have ready first is #12... yet that's the one I'm the most indecisive about. Pretty content with my top 11. So many writers I think could go in that 12.

Since it's classics and we're not including news-strips, I suspect mine will be pretty Marvel-heavy, though I haven't yet started trying to formulate a list. I'll have to check some of the more contemporary writers that I like to see if my favourite works by them came out before 2011.
One thing I'm not sure about is if I'll want to include someone who produced just one book or run on a book that I rate highly while not being too fond of anythng else that writer's done. Decisions!

Planning to sit down and finalise my list today. I need to write up my comments in advance because I'm away from home for a lot of the event, so I just want to copy and paste my entry on each day...I don't want to have to be spending time writing it all out.
