this elf was busy too, and gift (s) are on the way!
frustratingly, no way to flag as "gift" from my go to site for ordering such things. . . so my giftee is gonna see cost as I'm sure they'll put recipt in.
Still, Hope my giftee enjoys! and LOL, I went over by a bit -as there was one last thing that caught my eye (that I bought for myself as well), and thought my giftee might find interesting!

Santa's elves just dropped off a package on my porch. I'll open it tonight after work, and I'll try to get pics up tonight or tomorrow sometime.

So here it is, the first Secret Santa reveal of the year. It was a big package filled with all kinds of goodness. First up, some pulp editions...  Love me some Doc Savage and these were stories I didn't haver in other editions, so very cool. And I've never read a Black Bat or Cap Fury story before, so super-excited to try those out. Secondly, a pair of big books, one a GN and the other about comics...  the sub-title that isn't legible in the pic of the We Told You So Book is "The Oral History of Fantagraphics" and I am excited to have this. When Tom Spurgeon passed away a year ago, I realized I hadn't read much of his work despite the high regard he was held in and liking what I had read, and wanted to get more, but just never got around to it yet, so getting this gets me started on that. And I wasn't aware Tomasi had done stuff outside Marvel/DC, so I am excited to check out this GN as well. All in all it's a big ole pile of comic and comic-related goodness that hits all my sweet spots, so a BIG THANK YOU to my Santa. -M |

Package is in the mail. USPS is saying four days to destination, but even if they're off by a factor of 100%, it should still be there by Christmas.

Just a reminder-we are about 10 days out from Christmas Eve, so if you haven't sent your gift out yet, try to do so soon or it might not make in time for the holiday. Post when you send and receive (even if you don't open right away)so we can keep track of things as well.

I sent mine out on 12/7 and (according to USPS) it arrived at it's destination last Thursday.

Yeah, according to the site I ordered from, my package was delivered to my recipient on 12/7. Hope they received it as it's been a week and no word.

Ok so by my tally,
bert, the Captain, MDG and MRP have sent their gifts out, so 4 out of the 8
only MRP has posted receiving a gift so far, so 1 of 8.

^ oh. . are we supposed to say who our Giftee was? LOL. .I didnt' mention it. . but I don't mind sharing, since I'm really glad MRP liked what I got as a gift! The reason I went over was that Fantagraphics book - so I'm thrilled you liked that @mrp - that's the one I bought for me at the same time, and thought "hmm. . I'll bet he'd like this too. . and he deserves a little "extra" for organizing the shebang"  Happy Holidays everyone! |

I know because I organize it and do the randomized matching of giver and recipient, but I don't say anything because some like to keep the secret in Secret Santa. In the past some have revealed and some haven't, so do what thou will... And thank you very much to @bert (since he did reveal I can extend the thanks personally and not in general. -M |
