For all of you old timers who moved over here with me from CBR, I think you recognize how great of a service proboards provides to us. I pay a sensible fee each year to maintain our personalized web address, and they provide us with great software that doesn't glitch after the hundredth page of a discussion, seldom bothers us with disruptive advertisements (and, when they do, proboards is quick to remove them), the site is almost never down, and when it is, they have it back up quickly. Any problem you've ever had with your software that I couldn't solve for you, a proboards expert has worked with you one-on-one to get it resolved quickly. It's nine people doing all this for us, and I can't imagine moving to another service if they ever went away.

Anyway, the global economic crisis is hurting them badly, and they are asking for additional help. I contributed $12 myself, and would encourage anyone who can swing it to pitch a few bucks their way. As a thank you, they are offering all sorts of little perks that go with your donation.
