Alice in Blunderland - a comic from 1952 educating people about the dangers of government waste and inefficiency. Boy, sure glad we all learned our lessons from this book, eh?

Here is some glorious Frank Thorne art in this obscure PSA book warning kids about the dangers of... robot hippies?

Is it just me, or is it a tad hypocritical for Captain America to be participating in anti-drug PSAs?
Surely without drugs, Cap would just be some 4F loser whining to anyone who'd listen that if only they'd let him in the army, he'd go straight to Berlin and punch Hitler in the face.

It's one of the few that I need to complete my Chick collection. It's also one of the very few that have never been re-printed, so they command a pretty high price.
I've always found Chick Tracts (and their cousins, Crusaders Comics) fascinating. Sometimes disturbing, but always fascinating.

is that Silhouette on the cover with Cap? or some new character special to this issue.
I ask, because if that *is* Sil. . . shame on them for using the one disabled character in the New Warriors on the cover, but then drawing her so that you can'T see her crutches!
but it COULD be a new character just drawn similar in style and colors.

It is Silhouette. She is shown using her crutches in the story, which features Cap and the New Warriors fighting baddies named Weed, Crack, Ice and Ms Fix. Speedball must have wondered which side he was on.

Preventative maintenance monthly eh....so basically don't let your vehicle get cut in half by a train. This will prevent you from having any maintenance.

In Prince Hal's entry cover, they obviously didn't listen to the real star of PS, Miss Connie Rodd... or they wouldn't have stalled on the tracks to begin with.
