I use my phone to access the board, and lots of images makes it hard to scroll and not miss comments.

For example, in Chrome, you can select "Do Not Show Any Images" in Privacy and Security/Content Settings. The mods have been having a conversation about whether there should be limits in the number of images a user includes in a post, as we've had some very image-heavy posts as of late. We recognize that this has been a challenge for some.

Better to avoid more than one or two images, or would breaking up long posts and thus "rationing" the images be okay? Long, text-only threads can make for slow going for readers, even if they are broken into smaller paragraphs.

Long, text-only threads can make for slow going for readers, even if they are broken into smaller paragraphs. At this time, the mods are not going to implement any sweeping policy on image limitations. Instead, if a member is clogging up a thread with excessive images, we'll take it on an incident-by-incident basis. Suffice to say, if its your own thread, or if its in keeping with the intent of someone else's thread and the number of images seems appropriate/warranted, it shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, I didn't want anything changed. I just wanted to be able to do something on my end so I could read easier. But it looks like an update on my phone has fixed the problem for me. It's a CCF miracle!
