The S symbol looks really good on Power Girl. I am surprised! I hope she survives this series.

Have to disagree with "S" symbol for Power Girl. That just makes here put in the shadow off Superman and just another female version of him and not here own person/character. That's probably one reason she was never given a costume that too closely resembled his as they wanted her to be able to stand on her own as a character.
And yes i realized that in this new version of the DCU she was Supergirl her world of Earth-2 before coming to the the new mainstream earth of DC52. So appearance they are just making her go back to being Supergirl.
I personally don't care for them doing that but hey that's my 2 cents.

I have mixed feelings about the "S" for Power Girl and having said that - I think it's will confuse some people thinking is this the new Supergirl and/or Power Girl? ... I can clearly see justicefreak's opinion being validated here but I'm surprised as you are Earth 2 Flash and having said that I think a "P" in form of a Superman's styled logo would be a bit more appropriate for her to have.
But, I don't want one and furthermore an insignia on her isn't necessary and I prefer the plain Jane look myself. But, I can accept a modified "P" on her outfit as a more suitable option.

My guess is that PG starts wearing the "S" symbol because she finally gets confirmation that her Superman is dead so she takes on his symbol to honor him. I would prefer it was a "P" symbol but at least that silly hole over her cleavage is finally covered.

In my case, I like it because I think it looks cool, not because of what it stands for. I think the "window" version looks lewd. This is an effective way to take care of that. I am sure that a lot of fans would disagree with me.
Apparently, the "S" symbol on Krypton 2 stands for the family or perhaps even more. Clearly, it doesn't just stand for "Superman." Though I do think it a tad strange that someone called "Power Girl" should wear an "S" for her symbol. A "P" would seem more appropriate, at least to me.
I continue to just be happy that Power Girl looks pretty, heroic, and cool, without looking lewd. Regardless of what she wears, I really like her as a character and heroine.
By the way, I really like her pairing with Val-Zod.

I wonder if this cover reflects the interior art? or maybe the cover artist was just exercising his artistic license? Kara's "S" doesn't even look like an Earth 2 "S."
I guess we'll have to wait to see for sure.

I never read the series but this version of Power girl's Uniform seemed to be a good take as it traded out the turtle neck and Cleavage window for a simple scoop front neckline It was first shown in All Star Comics 69 but the ad pictured here was my first introduction to Power Girl

As much as I didn't like Power Girl being an Atlantean, I did enjoy Kerry Gammill's rendition of her. Whatever happened to him BTW?

Don't feel bad, you didn't miss anything of importance.
I also liked this version of her costume.

I'd like the El family crest and some kind of personal symbol to either side of it, like a first name. It would show her as from that family but with her distinction. Yeah yeah, I know it hasn't been done before, but Power Girl is kinda of unique. I'd like it better than a P or PG. Or maybe the crest is smaller and centered on her distinct symbol.
