From Tim Truman On The Band-Aid? And What Is The Blood Moon Actually Called Anyway? Posted on October 17, 2014 by Rich Johnston Tim Truman posts on his site, DC COMICS: I’LL BE DOING ART FOR A SPECIAL 2-ISSUE PROJECT FOR DC COMICS, FEATURING A CHARACTER THAT I’VE WORKED WITH BEFORE. THAT’S ALL I CAN REVEAL AT THIS POINT! MORE NEWS SOON! Two issues… could that be the Band Aid? The upcoming DC Comics event created in advance to cover the publisher’s move from New York to Burbank, consisting of a bunch of creators producing twenty lots of two-part series over two months, with a weekly comic running through them written by Scott Lobdell, all masterminded by Dan DiDio and Marie Javins? I have been told by a quite excellent source that the true name of the DC Band Aid event (not Blood Moon) appears on this message board thread. So, given that, here are my best guesses for the true name of The Blood Moon. Convergence. Warworld. Game On. 52 Earths. Blind Allegiance. Joe Kalicki. Which do you think it might be?

Warworld could be a cool name for this event.

The Dc character I most associate Truman with is the Hawks from Hawkworld, but he has done others. If he is doing something Hawkman related, I might look into it, but otherwise this scab/fill in project really doesn't interest me. Though Chip Kidd is a great designer and a solid pick to do covers, most of the rest of the creators involved up until the announcement of Truman are folks whose work I generally avoid because I don't enjoy it.
