Man, do I love this community, and nothing reminds me of that more than our annual Jamie Awards. Reliving the discussions and memories with you has been priceless, as always. Thank you! One very cool thing I've noticed this year for the first time -- how many of our winners are not founding members of this community. In six years, we've gained some really special people, and this year's Jamie reflects that.
And a heartfelt congratulations (as always) to every member of this community, whether you won, were nominated, or just deserved to be. There were only ten awards to go around, but we all make this place what it is. Thank you!
The awards are designed to be the ideal size to work as a banner for those who feel like rightfully flaunting their win. After all, it's not really bragging if we voted to give you the honor in the first place

THE RESULTS
The Professor Xavier Award for Best Discussion Starter
"Not only is nearly every third new thread at the CCF pretty made by rberman, but so many of them have been fun, original, thought-provoking, and titled as cleverly as if they were bait-click! A few of my favorites from this past year include "Your Brains and My Brawn: Mind Swapping Stories", "My cousin's comics stash", Can we talk about early Bronze Age Supergirl?", "Names vs Code Name", and "Ororo Munroe and Trader Horn."
Favorite Classic Comic (non-review) Thread
"The nostalgia was palpable as participants provided photos and/or memories of their cherished classic comic stomping grounds. I hadn't given much thoughts to my own local shops for years, and this discussion had me spending hours on google maps, trying to figure out where they'd been located."
The Brother Power the Geek Award for Funniest Member
"He often makes me chuckle with his good natured tongue-in-cheek posts and responses. There's never any snark with him; only well judged gentle ribbing and jocularity."
Favorite Beyond The Back Issues Thread
"It's nice to find something new brought up to explore.."
The Krypto Award for Friendliest Member
"Always cheerful and helpful and both interesting and interested in other people's stuff."
Favorite Original Fiction or Art Piece
"Can I nominate Junkmonkey for his various humorous one-pagers? They aren't all about boobs. "
The Uatu Award: Most knowledgeable Member
"He is Cei-U! Jr. based on his knowledge of Golden Age comics."
Favorite Review Thread
"I've been waiting a long time for chadwilliam to bring his deep knowledge, incisive analyses, and outrageous wit to a review thread of his own, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results in Peer into the Eyes of The Spectre. He takes such simplistic stories and gives them far more thought than Bailey and Siegel ever did. Most impressive yet, he's taken a run that most of us have never read nor given much consideration to, and generated lively discussion with many active participants, each bringing their own unique perspectives to the discussion. It's a total pleasure to follow and participate in. Well done, Chad!"
The Jasper Sitwell Award for Best New Member
"{He} jumps in for participating in all the threads and is active in discussions, providing images & discussions and witty responses."
The Captain Jim Zimmerman Award for Best Overall Member Who Most Exemplifies the Spirit of the CCF
"For the great humanity he manifests, both when traveling down the road of a comic lover's memory or when discussing what happens in the world around us. Frank and witty, knowledgeable and compassionate, funny as can be, he's truly a pillar of this community."
A heartfelt congratulations to all of our winners, nominees, and participants. Thanks, EVERYONE, for a sixth amazing year at the CCF. It only seems to keep getting better around here!
