I just read that this year's Free Comic Book Day offering will involve Usagi with a new story by Stan as well as a new chibi-usagi by Julie. I'm not usually a fan of chibi art but I just love Julie's shorts in the past so I'm looking forward to that a lot. On top of that there will also be a Painkiller Jane/ Usagi cover for the Overstreet Guide:  |

Yeah, I was slightly worried for some reason when Usagi left Dark Horse but it's a great home so far and the Overstreet cover is by Bill Tucci I'll readily admit I'm not well versed in the current state of comics, but it seems like Dark Horse has lost many of its top properties over the past few years, while IDW's presence continues to grow. I think Stan made the right move. And knowing what a gentleman he is, I'm sure he parted with Dark Horse respectfully and on excellent terms. |

The FCBD issue of Usagi is really good. If you enjoy the one page Funhouse short in the first Color Classics issue, then you're really going to like the FCBD story. I can't wait for you all to get to read it and I'm looking forward to seeing it in color.
