I buy San Francisco Bay French Roast whole beans at Costco. The price is good and its a nice dark roast without tasting burnt like Starbucks. I drink one to two pots of coffee a day.

I couldn't even do that much coffee, since I can't drink it straight, and sweeteners are horrid, I have to drink it with sugar. And that much coffee would really screw with my blood sugar. I drink at most 1 or 2 16-20oz coffees a day.

I drink one to two pots of coffee a day. How many cups does this translate to?

I drink one to two pots of coffee a day. How many cups does this translate to? If you're using a standard cup then 12-24. Each of my coffee mugs holds about 2 - 2 1/2 cups.

I'm looking for something with a lovely Hazelnut flavour...first sampled a cup in, of all places, KFC and I loved it. Hazelnut's a fav of mine as well. Sometimes I get a Hazelnut flavored coffee creamer for the house

Not a coffee drinker myself - never really developed a taste for any kind of hot drink, be it coffee, tea, or even cocoa or hot chocolate. Tea would probably be my first choice of any of those, but I might go a full year without having a cup of tea.
OTOH, "coffee" is one of those words I've always liked the sound of, for some reason. I almost want to start drinking it just so I can use it in conversation more often.
Also, I can never hear the word "coffee" now without being reminded of the scene in History of Violence where the scary guy shouts "I said, I want COFFEE!" to the guy behind the counter at the diner. I remember when I saw it at the theatre, thinking, Holy shit, hurry up, give the guy a coffee!

Most things ironchimp posts look backwards, one way or the other.
Though I believe "Kopi Luwak" plays for one of those silly, prancing little soccer teams that some people here think so highly of.

I prefer my coffee to be Civet anus free, thank you. I'm not the biggest coffee drinker, so I usually buy something like Stumptown or Pirates Chai.

How many cups does this translate to? If you're using a standard cup then 12-24. Each of my coffee mugs holds about 2 - 2 1/2 cups. My mug is the same size, but I rarely drink more than four mug fulls (which I guess comes out to around 6 standard cups). I take a caffeine pill every three hours while working at night and avoid drinking coffee while working in fear of becoming over stimulated; I'd probably get so much work done that they'd start finding ingenious ways to cut back on less productive employees hours and foist their workload on me.

I top out at maybe 2 coffees a day. That and one regular, beastly cold coca-cola provides my caffeine fix for the day. I don't do caffeine pills though, or 5 hour Energy boosts (local Minister of Health has heaped scorn on the latter).... Never really touched coffee in my teens, until I visited the USA and spent 2 weeks at Travelodge. They gave free coffee every day and I gave up one of my cups of tea almost every day since. Besides, gives me an excuse to use my fancy sculpted ceramic mugs...love Pirates and Darth Vader
