heck I probably could have done an entire list of Batman Meets X, but I reined myself in. I'd considered this, but each of the 90's Batman team-ups I've read either 1)aren't very good, 2)favor Batman at the expense of the other character, or 3)favor the other character at the expense of Batman. I'm relatively sure I know one I recently reviewed that is going to make your list, but I felt it was too much a Batman story and not enough emphasis on the other character to really fit the spirit of this event. To each their own, of course. I believe I discounted the one you're thinking of for similar reasons, but it'll definitely make my "almost" list.

I'm only up to 1992 in my reading and reviews, so I'll be very curious to see what you choose.

Trying to wrap my head around the rules...
Two-way crossovers only? And at most one team involved? To test my understanding, I think none of the following are eligible. Am I correct or misreading?
Fantastic Four vs. X-Men Avengers/Defenders War Secret Wars Batman/Hellboy/Starman

Well, I've already got 25 Spider-Man stories picked. I think I'm going to try to limit myself to 11 Spider-Man stories to get some variety.

Fantastic Four vs. X-Men Avengers/Defenders War Secret Wars Batman/Hellboy/Starman Don't take the "Two Heads" part of the theme title too literally. Yes, two character meet-ups ar preferred, but there are exceptions. I would allow Batman/Hellboy/Starman (just as I okayed the issue of Fantastic Four where they fight Thor, Daredevil, and Spider-Man), but the others you cite are definitely out. "Events" like Secret Wars or Final Night in particular are verboten.
Cei-U! Does that help any?

There is one particular MTU issue that keeps falling on to and off of my list. At the moment it's on, but that could change again.

Yes. But if you could repeat all that using only one-syllable words, then I'm sure to get it.
