Earth 2 World's End #2 - My new favorite title! I like it a lot as well but also really enjoyed Earth 2 #27. It was like Worlds' Finest should have been since day one. I completely agree with you. At this point, anyone who has followed both Worlds' Finest and Earth 2 can see how they go together. I just hope that DC continues to give us stories about the heroes of Earth 2 after Earth 2: World's End is completed. I particularly want to see more of the following characters:
Flash Superman and Power Girl Batman and Huntress Atom/Captain Atom/Atom Smasher (or whatever his hame is) Dr. Fate The new Red Arrow they are about to introduce. Dick, Barbara, and Jon Grayson
Visually speaking, I still want to see more of Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, Aquawoman, and Sandman.
Mr. Terrific, Captain Steel, Judomaster, and Red Tornado are still a little bit on the boring side for me, but I am willing to continue to give them a chance.

If DC Comics kill off the majority of the current Earth 2 characters to pave the way for the return of the Pre-Crisis Earth 2 characters ... if this happen I will never, ever pick up another copy of Earth 2 as long as I live. This destroy the beauty of these great Earth (Present Day) 2 Characters and I'm clamoring for more adventures and exploration of these characters that I love so much!
Dr. Poison and the rest of the you - it will be a very sad day for this member here if they did this ...

Rent - Earth 2 Worlds End #2 I'm surprised your only renting this Doc. It's pretty good methinks. BTW, with so many earths, I think we can have both Earth-2 (present) and the Golden Age on another. |

I'm surprised your only renting this Doc. It's pretty good methinks. BTW, with so many earths, I think we can have both Earth-2 (present) and the Golden Age on another. I agree that there is room for both sets of Earth 2 characters however, DC has hinted that the casualties will be heavy in Earth 2: Worlds' End. DC is not always completely truthful in their hints, solicitations, or interviews. I really hope that this is one of those times. There are a LOT of great characters on Earth 2. There are a few possibilities that I can possibly foresee with the direction they are going:
Huntress
Option 1 - They may put her in a death trap in order for Grandpa Batman save her, so they can establish a good working relationship for the two. This would be my favored option.
Option 2 - They may have put her in a death trap in order for Grandpa Batman to sacrifice his life in order to save her, thus redeeming Thomas Wayne and giving the Huntress another reason to fight crime.
Option 3 - They may kill the Huntress because they don't feel a need for both Helena Wayne and Helena Bertinelli to exist. I HATE this option.
Option 4 - They may kill the Huntress to make way for the return of the pre-Crisis Helena Wayne Huntress.
Power Girl and Superman Val
1) Option 1 - A possible romance between the two is TOO good of a storyline to kill these characters. DC would be fools to kill either one of them. Perhaps they will both survive.
2) Option 2 - DC may kill these characters because they are tired of receiving my money. I suppose the same could be said for Flash, Aquawoman, etc.

I also HATE option 3 under your Huntress section.  The Power Girl/Val Zod romance is just starting up and already, I love(no pun intended) it. Upon seeing(again no pun intended) lay eyes on each other, it seems they were made for each other. I really like the pairing. |

I feel the same way as you about Superman Val and Power Girl, Dr. Poison.
My personal hope would be that DC would expand their Earth 2 line.
I would love to see a comic focusing on the Earth 2 Superman Family. SuperVal and Power Girl would, of course be the highlight. I suppose there would be room for Accountable Jimmy and Red Tornado in this comic.
I would also gladly invest in an Earth 2 Batman Family comic. Batman Thomas Wayne and Huntress would be the focus. The Graysons would be welcome too.
