I will pass on this one - this is too bizarre for me and I just having a problem with DC latest run of Supernatural Characters.

I like the character, but, this doesn't appeal to me. When one of my daughters was going through a Goth phase, though, I'm pretty sure she'd have liked it.

The art my McCarthy and Major looks incredible, but I have lost all faith in Nocenti as a storyteller. I haven't liked anything she has done since her Daredevil run, and I had started to sour on that before it ended. Her recent DC work has been atrocious, so I am reluctant to jump on anything she does...I might...might...try the first issue if I have a very small week of stuff I am buying during the month it comes out, but I am doubtful...
I have to say that the scene in the preview reminds way too much of Simon Green's Nightside setting for his urban fantasy stories.

I was so excited when I saw this. Klarion is a significantly underused DC property and, much as I generally hate to say anything positive about the man, Grant Morrison did fantastic things with the character.
But that preview was severely underwhelming.

Regarding Ann Nocenti, I have to agree with mrp. I've lost faith in her as well. Toxic
Art looks good. I like the character, but don't see this lasting more than 8 issues. Hopefully I'm wrong and it finds its way.
