Can't wait to add this to my collection! I love these Saga volumes! I thought the Hellboy books had a nice trade dress but these look even better on the shelf.

Agreed! For sixteen years, I was a floppy format purist with Usagi, but once I got my hands on the Saga editions, I began liquidating my floppies and am now a trade-waiter. It is really really hard waiting this long for new Usagi when I used to get it ten times a year!

I buy both. Hold onto the singles until the Saga edition comes around and then I trade in my singles or will pass them along to somebody in hopes of giving Stan some new followers!  While adding to pre-order via Amazon i received notice that there are now Usagi shirts available! 5-6 different shirts to choose from. Wahooooooooieeeeeeeeee |

While adding to pre-order via Amazon i received notice that there are now Usagi shirts available! 5-6 different shirts to choose from. Wahooooooooieeeeeeeeee There are a ton of gorgeous Usagi shirts on Amazon. Unfortunately, most of them are not licensed and are therefore effectively stealing from Stan. I'll be honest -- I have not been fond of the recent official t-shirt releases. I really need a new Usagi shirt, but I haven't seen one that I want  |

That is just wrong! Looked at Stan's site: REALLY like the Demon Usagi shirt with all those little death skulls surrounding him. The Preparing to Fight in grey is pretty nice as well. Know what I will be purchasing after the holidays are over  |

I had been talking to Daniel (Stan's stepson that works on the merchandising) not too long ago about stuff we'd like to have made, so I'm happy to put a word in next time I'm chatting with him. The demon Usagi with skulls shirt was a design I pitched on the Dojo forum a while back and the final product is really close to what I had mocked up, so our requests are being heard. |

My favorite Sakai art is almost always either dramatic in nature (for example, our banner image), or depicts a sense of tranquility (the tea ceremony, Usagi walking in the snow, etc). When I wear Usagi, I'm showing people who have never heard of him before what I love about the character. You can go anywhere for a dude who slices people with a sword. I like images that depict what sets him apart -- the nobility and the spirit behind it all. Thanks for asking! |

Mine arrived today. #81.
So the big question now: All that's left of the Dark Horse content is The Hidden and the TMNT crossover. Are they going to make a Saga Edition volume 9 out of that? Maybe incorporate material from The Art of Usagi Yojimbo, the issue #100 tribute, and supplementary info?
