Went back to my LCS and picked up ARROW's John Constantine today (seen here with his original DC Direct Counterpart) (I seem to have misplaced his New52 Justice League Dark Incarnation at present unfortunately, Supergirl had to wait so the Godzillas could welcome a New member into the family Gojira: Boys, say hello to your new brother, Shin Godzilla Shin: uh, hey guys...

My wife discovered a series of mass market painted miniatures by Nanometals that featured Harry Potter characters... that Wallyworld was carrying, under $5 for a box set and individual blisters for 97 cents each. They also had a DC line and 3 Marvel lines (Avengers, Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy) which I picked up a few (the GotG box set and Captain America from Marvel and a Batman:TAS Batman, and Wonder Woman, Supergirl, GL, Flash and Aquaman from the regular set. While at Wallyworld I also found the Avengers action figure line on clearance and picked up the Black Panther figure... and the second series of the Justice League Action mini figs on clearance and picked up all 8... so a bunch of super-hero goodnesss for the display shelf for under $20. -M

Along with the Samurai Usagi figure from Playmaes I posted about in the Usagi toy thread, I also picked up the Black Widow figure from the same line as the Panther figure I got last weekend, on clearance at a different Wallyworld. I'm not set up to take and post pics currently, so borrowing a pic to show which figure it was... the clearance price was half of what the msrp was in that photo. -M

So the Wallyworld on my side of town had the Mounted Samurai Usagi Yojimbo so it is now mine.... I picked up a couple other things (besides bananas) that were on clearance... The Imaginext Wonder Woman with her Invisible Jet... and the Marvel Legends Dr. Strange figure... I passed on the Doc figure earlier, but at clearance prices, I snagged it. -M

When I told my wife these giant Wonder Woman action figures from Jakk's were on clearance at Wallyworld, she sent me out to get one for her this morning... She had almost pulled the trigger on it when she first saw it, but held off, and once it was reduced in price, she decided to get it. It stands over 18 inches tall. I think we're going to have a very large Wonder Woman display once the new room is set up with all the new and old Wonder Woman pieces we have now. -M

Picked up a couple of Justice League figures for me and my lady and finally found the larger Justice League Action Wondy for her. I ended up grabbing The Caped Crusader version of Bats too. Also grabbed some of the Mystery DC Pets line in the clearance section and while I now have doubles of Streaky, Supergirl, Superman and Wonder Woman, I finally got the Krypto that we had been trying for since the line started.

I didn't know they did a Wonder Woman figure for the Justice League Action line. They initially announced only 4 big figs, Bats, Supes, Flash and Joker, of which I only picked up Flash. I would snag the Wonder Woman in a heartbeat if I saw it.
I saw those JL movie figs at 1 Wal*Mart, the other didn't have it. They had an entire dispaly with zero Wonder WOman figs, all Bats, Supes and Aquaman. Again, I would get the WW fig if they had it.

My wife's aunt runs estate sales as a side business. They had one this weekend, so we stopped by to say hi and while there I found a couple of well played with Fisher Price Adventure People pieces that I picked up. Phone's charging so I found pics online of what I got, I'll try to take pics of the actual pieces tomorrow... The Daredevil plane with pilot... and the explorer boat with crew (but it was minus the porpoise/dolphin)... I had a few pieces of this as a kid (my favorite was the gorilla I used as a Grodd stand in, but this is my first foray into buying vintage Adventure People pieces as an adult. -M
