With all due respect, I think that Wonder Woman always carrying a sword sends the wrong message about her. She has been known to advocate peace for many years and to have her constantly sport a bladed weapons doesn't really coincide with that. Now, don't get me wrong, when she's in a battle with someone or something extremely powerful like Cheetah, Despero,, Bizarro, or Doomsday, I do think it's ok for her to use a sword.

Yeah, I thought of that, as far as times where's it's not as "appropriate, but when would she know that ? Any hero or heroine is a constant target.
Not saying she would always use them, especially the sword.
