My nomination goes for The Captain for his honesty and heartfelt connection with other members in every thread he posts in. He has the ability for reminding us all that life and every one of us is important and the merit of being a member here on the CCF is the joys and pleasures of interacting with people like him. And his dad insights/interactions are wonderful and loving tributes to himself and his family and life. Man, is it dusty in here! Quite frankly, I'm honored to even be nominated alongside some of the true pillars of this community, but more than that, I'm amazed by what brutalis wrote. I'm just some guy on the internet who happens to love comic books and who has found a group of kindred spirits, and to read those words, coming from someone I have not met nor likely ever will, is so incredibly humbling, it's taken me all day to even process it and be able to respond. Seriously, I need to talk to my wife about buying some Pledge. Stupid eyes keep watering up. |

This is not easy because I would like to nominate at least three people. But I'll nominate Prince Hal . The good Prince adds insight and humor to the conversations. He's been a valued member since day one. And his Comic Memories thread is a gem. Especially meaningful coming from you, slam. Thanks. |

When I think of the core members at CCF -- the ones who truly give this place its identity and sense of community -- there's a very long list of names that come to mind, but one of the top names on that list that I feel is overdue for a nomination is Icctrombone. He has enthusiasm, friendliness, humor, and the ability to care about every and anyone here that is infectious. And, behind the scenes, having spoken to him one on one on numerous occasions, I think he cares more about this community than possibly anyone else here. His presence is so integral to this community. |
