Just wondering if the Hal Jordan and Green Lantern Corps comic is any good to read through.
I just started getting into the other series Rebirth Green Lanterns which I'm at the beginning

I picked up a few (33-43) from ebay for a good deal a couple weeks ago.. it's decent.
I'm not a fan of the whole color spectrum stuff, and these issues didn't deal with any of that, which was nice. The current status quo has it set up that the 4 'main' characters are 'Honor Guard Lanterns'.. so they don't have a sector, they just go and do stuff when trouble happens, which works pretty well.
It seems like it's essentially a team book featuring Hal, John, Kyle and Guy, with the others popping in every now and then.
It was good enough that I'll probably get the next few when the oppertunity arises, but not good enough to make me rush out and get the rest.

It's been a solid monthly read, if not spectacular.
It's also worth noting that the series will end with August's Issue #50. I'm sure they'll bring it back with a new creative team and new direction before the year is out though.

What happens with the other Green Lanterns book is unknown at this point, or which Lanterns would be featured in a Morrison run is also unknown. Again, it's just rumor, it hasn't been confirmed. -M

Vendetti can be good, but only when he wants to be. His run on X-O Manowar was stellar up until the forced Unity, sans Avengers, crossover. I think he was working on both Flash and Green Lantern at the time so he might have just been burnt out
I respect him for what he did for Valiant, but I don't respect his work ethic because he does too much and gives back too little. Kind of like Claremont in a way....

Out of this series -- I read about 12-18 issues sporadically on occasions and I've re-read some of them in my research of my countdown of my Green Lantern thread in the other boards. It's an interesting series and the writing is decent and I do enjoy it when I do get a chance to do so. The bold part of The Bearded Batman is exactly what I feel about it.
