I'd like to nominate The Superman Trilogy, Part I: The Last Son of Krypton by Duragizer. It feels most like a Superman story I would want to watch on the big screen. I also like that it's a period piece and I feel a lot of superhero stuff fits more naturally in the past than trying to shoehorn it into the present to make it contemporary. His depictions of young Clark and Pa Kent were very layered and not only struck the right cords with me as a fan but felt like actual people experiencing these fantastic events. I've yet to read his Star Wars stuff and am looking forward to catching up with Superman but this is certainly a writer's work worth checking out.

It just squeaks into the eligibility period, but I nominate Legacy the Secret History of the DCU by Cei-U. It is always a joy to read Kurt's stuff; his knowledge of comics and comic hostory always shines through, but even more important he weaves an engrossing narrative and is a good storyteller and rhis worl puts those traits on dispaly.

That Thing I Drew That One Time... done by Jesse -- is full of great way of how he walks you through his process of drawing and showing great examples of his art that I truly enjoy looking at. His way of drawing it is superb and I find his methods of doing it is quite an achievement of that talent alone. I always on the lookout for his new posts on that thread.
