I was able to get a Bewitched 2 pack this morning at the Target website, but it is gone again. I saw the Joker up and then out of stock before I could place my order.

I managed to get the Uhura/Sulu Mirror Mirror 2 pack when it popped up as available briefly the other day, it's due to arrive sometime today. Flash arrived yesterday.

So far from wave 3, I have been able to get Endora and Serena, The Joker, The Flash, Sabrina Duncan, and Blair Warner. Had Luthor in my cart, but he was gone before I could checkout (target website). I went to two Targets this weekend and they no wave three, but random leftovers from the first 2 waves. Holding out for the Wolfman, Luthor, and Batman.

I have the Sulu/Uhura Mirror Mirror 2 pack, The Flash and Sabrina Duncan from Wave 3. I have a Romulan Commander on back order from the Target site, but who knows if I will ever get it. it's been pushed back twice since I ordered it. I'd still like to get the Werewolf, Kirk and that Romulan if I can, but none of the Target in either the Dayton or Columbus area have had Wave 3 on the shelves. I might get the Silver Age (blue) Batman, but I already have the Golden Age (black) Batman and the replacement head for it, so it's not a priority.
Wave 4 is slated for sometime in early 2019, but I still haven't seen all of Wave 2 or any of wave 3 in stores.

Only really collecting the Star Trek Megos. And, I still haven't seen the carded regular uniform Mr. Spock (Wave 2), Romulan, dress shirt Kirk, or Uhuru/Sulu two-pack. I actually haven't seen any new Trek figures at any brick & mortar Targets for about 1 1/2 months. Either the newer waves are selling out quickly, or the store(s) I go to aren't getting any of these to begin with.
The Target website also only has the Wave 1 Trek figures.

The problem with the stores is that either Target or Mego used the same DCPI number for all three waves, so the inventory scanner reads Sulu, Spock, and Green Shirt Kirk as the same figure, and Checkov, the Gorn and the Romulan as the same figure, so as long as Checkov and Sulu are on the pegs, it's not likely the store will stock the later waves because nothing in their computer inventory tracking tells them to. Even worse, there are three different figures per case (2 of each for a case of 6), so as long as anything from the case is on the pegs, new cases of that assortment are not likely to show up. So Sulu came with Jimi Hendrix and the Charlie's Angel figure, while wave 2 had a Kiss figure and Charlie's Angels with the Trek figure, as does wave 3. As for Target online, well for whatever reason, some key figures form wave 2 and all of wave 3 only get put up in limited quantities at a time, so you might see Spock come up but there are only 6 available and once they sell it is out of stock again until another couple of cases are processed then it comes up available and sells through in 5-10 minutes, goes out of stock, then a few days later comes back for another 6 or 10 or whatever then goes out of stock again. You have to luck into the availability or hope they do the email notification when it comes back in stock if you requested it, and that you will get it and can get to the site before it sells out. It's pretty much all on Target's head too, as Mego was them out there and readily available but did not specify roll out in the exclusive contract so are stuck with whatever Target decides to do. It's certainly frustrating, but I'd rather wait it out then pay some scalper on ebay who cut a backdoor deal with a Target employee to get them or lucked into a store that stocked them and bought them all. -M

Good to know - I had no idea that was the case. Very sloppy! No wonder we're not able to find these later figures.

Very frustrating that the 1st series was promoted and sold extremely well according to the Target stores in my area. But series 2 went down in sales and most of the stores aren't ordering/stocking based on this so no series 3 or 4 showing on the pegs at holiday time is just plain lazy and poor Target marketing. As well a factor I was told is that ALL the Target stores are refocusing their style and sales for the short end selling trying to increase revenue but ultimately only causing less sales. The action figure aisles are all down to one row now. The CD/music area is only a quarter of an aisle. The DVD/Blueray area which was a great seller and browsing area is now condensed into 1-2 aisles and in most here the DVD area is only 1 side of an aisle.
The MEGO's were prominent on an end cap facing the DVD area for 1 week only when they premiered. If you wanted them afterwards you had to cruise up and down the toy aisles looking for them. One week you may find them with the boys action figures, another week around the corner on the aisle with game cards and even in one store here they were found in the girls/doll row. Target has no idea of marketing or how to show off stuff for sale placement outside of their giant holiday sections.

Target has no idea of marketing or how to show off stuff for sale placement outside of their giant holiday sections. This is similar (though not exactly the same) to what happened in my area. I.e., when the Mego Wave 1 figures were first released @ Target in Summer 2018, they completely took me by surprise because even I - a relatively avid toy collector - didn't even know about them ahead of time. And, I attest that their placement in the store (i.e., at the end cap) had a lot to do with even non-collectors at least being aware of them. In my area they were on that end cap for much of the summer, but then in early Fall they relegated them to other toy aisles - as you mentioned. After they were first removed from the end cap I had to search all of the toy aisles to find them, since they kept moving them. I understand completely that, from a marketing stand-point, the end cap took up valuable shelf-space that Target probably wanted to replace with something that would sell better - especially now that the holidays are getting closer. However, it's frustrating that Target appeared that they were going to fully support these Mego figures, and then after Wave 1 was out for a while they all but turned their backs on the line. In any case, if I can find the rest of the Classic Trek figures I want it will be a minor miracle - LOL. I guess I should be glad I got what I did (some of Wave 1 & the Gorn from Wave 2).

The deal Mego had with Target included being on an end cap for the first month of release. After that it was up to Target as to where they displayed the figures. A few Targets kept the end caps. Most put them in the action figure aisle next to the Marvel stuff, a few moved them into the collectibles area in electronics, etc. The endcap though was only for a month in the negotiated deal.

Thanks for the post - didn't know about this promotion. Ironically, I've never even seen carded Mr. Spock (regular blue uniform) or any KISS figures @ my local Target - and those two figures are being used in the ad.
They should have kept the end-cap up at least through the holidays. If anything, more people would have seen this while walking through the store now than those that saw this over the summer, if only because people are going shopping for the holidays in November/December. IMHO, very poorly handled.

Finally found Flash, Joker and Lex all up at the same time on target.com and got them all ordered.
I was starting to give up on finding them in the wild.
