I became a fan of Doc's work when he was doing Flash Gordon with Jeff Parker and then Future Quest. He is one of the artists working with Bendis on Man of Steel, and here he is sketching Superman and talking a bit about Man of Steel, his experiences with Superman and his background in art...
I really did these Artist Alley clips SyFy does, one you get to see the artist at work (especially helpful watching them ink) but you also get to hear them talk through the process sometimes an talk about their approach to art, comics and characters.

Am I the only one that finds watching an artist ink a penciled drawing to be completely mesmerizing?
