 A few years back, before I discovered this community, I was a member of a small, tight-knit group of fun DCU fans at a place called The Hall of Justice. Their focus was current DC output and thus, while I loved the friends and relationships I'd built there, once I stopped buying new comics and the Justice League Unlimited toy line went south, I really had very little left to contribute to the community, so I stopped posting actively there around the same time that I became a heavy contributor at our old location, but I still kept in touch via facebook. So it turns out the Hall needed a new place to stay and some dedicated new folks to keep an eye on her. Now I know we tried merging with another community once before with less than desirable results, but while I knew the content and focus of that community back then, I didn't know the people and their character. I DO know the Hall, and I think they'll be an excellent fit here. Many of you have been asking for a long time now to have a place for discussing new comics. While the Hall's primary focus is current DCU output, they do have a section for discussing other current comic book output as well. I think this can be a great addition to our community, not because I'm particularly hungry to shake things up and mess with what's already working, but because this marks the joining of two communities that I respect immensely and both consider family. I look forward to exploring our new home here - thank you for the opportunity. Let me introduce myself - I am Azraelms, same as the previous Hall of Justice. I main focus has been the Mattel action figures - DC Universe Classics specifically before it ended - and have read DC comics since I was in first grade back 35 years or so ago. I have been disillusioned lately by the directions the comics have taken, but am very loyal to DC (never read Marvel - only seen the Marvel movies).
Anyway, a few years back I started writing a weekly column that covers all of the DC goings on in toys, comics, and TV/Movies, called the Weekly Analysis. I hope to continue that here. It has some slow times, so it may not be a weekly thing, but I have an idea what to do on those slow weeks. I hope to have the first Analysis up soon.

I was a moderator at the old Hall of Justice Forum - under the name of JLA SilverAgeFan - Now, I'm a big fan of the Classic JLA Team of the Satellite Era. I love movies, loved ARROW, and most of all - I'm a 55 years old and still go to my Comic Book store to rent/buy comics.
I wanted to give myself a new username by a Superhero by the name of Doctor Fate - one of my favorite JSA Member of All Time.
I will pop in on a regular basis ... and I will need a few days to get acquainted with this site.
Happy to be here ...
P.S. I don't read Marvel Comics, but I do occasionally enjoy a Spiderman and a Wolverine Comics now and then.

I thought the reason for nixing that was because the guy in charge of that section didn't have time to come up with new content? |

I've also been enjoying and accumulating the DC Universe Classics up to their untimely end, and still get a number of the new DC comics on a regular basis. So, do you walk thru the Hall of Justice to get to the Kitchen of Justice and make the Snack of Justice?
I've heard that some of the Justice folks are in a League of their own.
And others are part of high Society.
