Just read this article about Christopher Priest, his career writing comics (with a particular focus on his Black Panther run) and his perceived role in the industry. I didn't really get into his stuff until his Panther series for Marvel Knights, and that run still ranks as one of my favorite runs of any Marvel book, and he's become a writer whose stuff I try to seek out. I just got the trades of his Deathstroke run for Rebirth from the library, and need to check out his Justice League stuff as well. I've said many times I like the behind the curtains glimpses at creators and the creative process, and this is not quite that (there's nothing about his creative process) but it does offer a an interesting chapter that seems to be missing from a lot of books about comics (especially the big 2). -M
