I think you mean the opening page with a full page illustration. I thought the same thing but thought I'd check the internet for their definition and here's what Wikipedia says : "Splash page (comics), a comic book page that is mostly or entirely taken up by a single image or panel" If that's the case, then any full page illo would be a splash page, at least how I read it. If you are meaning the traditional opening page with a full page illo, the name of the story and credits, then that's what I'll post. The other full page illos I'll go back and delete. Oh, no, please don't delete pages, hondo. This isn't my thread, after all. And I didn't want to come across as Captain Adolph Buzzkill. Based on the posts over in the covers thread, I thought that we were referring to pages that announce the title. But if the definiton covers one-page panels, that's fine.  |

Post them all, man. Some people have posted pin ups , which are not part of a story so technically not a splash, But who cares? Beautiful artwork is what makes this thread great.
