I have a finished half-attic where I keep all my books, as well as a couch for reading.

I'd love to get to a point where I just pull random issues to read (and, occasionally, I do), but I'm so anal about collecting and reading full runs that I literally have six different stacks of "To Read" books right now, each centered around a specific character, creative run, or theme.

I need help.

I typically read them in entire series order, from start to finish. However, I did take a break late last year (or earlier this, I don't completely remember) and read a whole bunch of random issues from series like Marvel Spotlight, Marvel Premier, Marvel Presents, etc., because there was no reason to have to read them in order.

My lovely wife was gracious enough to give me the fourth bedroom of our house as my "comic book room"; I posted pictures of it when we were at our old internet home. I have all of my books in there, along with a nice big easy chair and ottoman, side table, ceiling fan and speakers for me to hook my mp3 player into to; I keep pushing for a mini-fridge, but the wife says that will just enable me to lock the doors and never interact with her or the girls, so it's been vetoed...for now.

I am currently in a hotel room in Williamsport, PA, as I have to go to a meeting tomorrow morning about 45 minutes north of here, and I have a stack of Avengers: The Initiative issues with me to read before bed. I don't normally take any books over 10 years old out of the house, instead traveling with collected editions, but newer stuff I picked out of the $1 or less boxes is just fine to travel with.

Typically read in the evenings after my daughters have gone to bed, although I do occasionally take a Friday afternoon (I work half-days on Fridays) or a weekend afternoon and curl up to read, depending on what else is going on (we're in soccer season right now, so I don't get Saturday afternoons free as I'd like).

Don't typically re-read anything, as I have a ton of things to get through, but I will occasionally re-read N.E.X.T.W.A.V.E. because it makes me happy, and I will re-read Milk & Cheese or Sam & Max, because they legitimately make me laugh.

Manga must really piss you off.

I group it by character/team. If I have a stack of say, Legion of Superheroes, I'll read them all at once, even if they are from different runs/series.

I typically like to read my comics on the couch right after I buy them. Then I put them up on my shelf which is next to my bed. My collection is unfortunately small at the moment but we all have to start from somewhere right?

I like to collect unbroken runs and read through them all at once. I think I'm compensating for my childhood when I acquired random issues here and there in ad hoc fashion, often in the middle of a story or status quo change and not knowing what was going on. That said, sometimes the temptation to not read the comics will get to me and I'll go through a stack even though I haven't completed the run yet. I justify it to myself with the reasoning that comics are meant to be read, not sitting in a pile, and I may die in car accident tomorrow and how unfortunate would it be if I never got to read at least some of that run of books I'm working on.

I do admit that when I'm working on a run, sometimes I feel like it's a goal I need to accomplish so I forget to slow down and enjoy the books... more so when I the run is not that great. I find that I'm able to enjoy a book more after I've completed a run and I go back to cherry pick specific issues to re-read when it strikes my fancy. I take the time to read the letters pages, Stan's bits wisdom, the Hostess Fruit Pie ads...

I try to be disciplined about not acquiring more books than I can read. To force myself, I have a short box that I keep filled with comics for my "to read" stash. If it gets completely full, I stop buying books, but so far that hasn't happened yet. The short box is solely for back issues, as I pretty much read new comics within a few days of release. My pull list is also pretty short, about a dozen titles or so, so it's not hard for me to keep up.

I also occasionally buy digital comics from Comixology, usually long runs for cheap when they have their 99 cent sales. When I travel I like to load up a tablet with a bunch of books to read.

I work from home, so I have a large office in the basement. I usually read on a big leather recliner late at night after everyone else has gone to bed.

Oh, and I have mini-fridge well-stocked with beer.
