Does anyone else double up on bag and boarding. What i mean is put two comic on one bag and board. One in front one in back. I only started doing this (after 30 years of collecting. Also i only do it with new comics

Do it with all of my non-valuable books, but without the boards, which take up too much space and add too much weight to my comic cabinet drawers.
Valuable books get single-Mylared with a board, weight be damned.

I do, yes... in fact, mostly I double bag with no board to save space. I only bag and board stuff a few things that are both old and valuable.

I tend to use this method, 2 books 1 bag 1 board. Works better with Silver Age size bags/boards than with modern size bags & boards.

I have so few single issue books left and none of it is very valuable so yeah I do. Except my old Danish translated superhero comics from my childhood. Those are already 2-3 times the size of a normal american issue so those get a single issue per bag.

I've gone the other way with my comics. These days, I place 20 or so books in a large magazine bag. I might place a backing board at the back of it.

I've started doing it with books that I accidentally buy which turn out to be crap and that I want to get rid of right away, but normally no.

I have almost none of my comics in plastic, but the few exceptions are 3 or 4 issues to a bag. I just left them there out of laziness more than anything.
