Much as they have done with the star Wars packaging for the anniversary line, Hasbro is reaching into its past to revive the Toy Biz retro style packaging for a special release of some classic figures... I guess it's a way to get people to rebuy stuff they already have says the cynic in me, but there's a little part of me thrilled to see the classic style packaging will be on the racks again. I was excited for the Star Wars stuff, but haven't actually bought any, and I doubt I will pick up any of these (out of budget necessity for both not lack of desire), but I do like the retro packaging. -M

Cute. It will at least encourage folks to give the line a second look. The current packaging isn't particularly eye catching.

The packaging doesn't really matter to me, but I am glad that this means Hasbro will be re-releasing Wolverine with the brown suit. I missed that figure the first time it was released, and now prices are pretty high.

I thought these looked pretty cool especially that new paint job on the Captain America. There's a brand new Black Widow figure in this line that sports the classic look and a mask-less version of Wolverine in the brown suit. From what I can tell the mask-less head is a repaint from an earlier figure but still looks great. Also a good opportunity for people to pick up a pizza Spider-Man figure who weren't able to before and don't want to pay after market prices.

I don’t collect any Marvel characters but these are very cool. If I did, I’d snag that Hawkeye right away.
