I still don't have Batman #25. The guys at the comic-book shop told me the 2nd printing would show up in a week or two or three. Apparently, Batman #25 is being grabbed up by people who think it's a continuation of #24. But that plot thread is not going anywhere until #28 or #29. If it's true, I don't have Batman #25 yet because speculators are dumb. They kinda tie together a little bit. The issue is Bruce telling Selina the story of the War of Jokes & Riddles.

Jughead #16: I have to thank Michael James for suggesting Jughead to me. What a fun book! Out of all the new Riverdale titles, Jughead seems to have retained more familiar characteristics from the old books and characters behaving more like themselves. Enjoyed seeing Reggie having some spotlight in the issue, as well as Josie and the Pussycats and Sabrina. I like the interactions between Sabrina, Archie, Reggie, and Jughead. Not happy the book is going on hiatus, but at least I have a bunch of back issues to catch up on! 9/10

Would you believe I created Jughead? No?
Would you believe I wrote this issue? No?
Would you believe I read this issue?
I loved this routine on Get Smart.

Action Comics #982: Revenge steps on the gas in this fast paced issue. The Revenge Squad comes together and brings the fight to the Fortress of Solitude where Superman is dealing with being blind (as a result of being in the Black Vault). Despite the loss of his sight he takes the Revenge Squad head on, while worrying about Lois and Jon's safety. The art is superb. Jack Herbert relies on good old fashioned talent and classic layouts. The last page promises that the momentum will continue....although seeing all the Superman Family together really made me miss Kon-El. 9/10 I love how Henshaw is manipulating this group, especially here where he convinces them that it would be to their own personal advantages to assault the Fortress. Then there's the business of the mysterious voice(s) within the Fortress. First Superman hears it, now Jon. What or whom could it be? Seeing the new Superman Family gather together was great although kinda surprised by the apparent leader (unless this is his obsession of him being the ONLY one worthy of killing Superman manifesting) Still, the fight set up for next issue looks to be wild. 8/10

INfamous Iron Man #9 Plot: Doom chats with future Tony Stark, who tells him it'll be bad for the world if he stays Iron Man, but the vision ends before he can say why. Riri turns him into SHIELD, who argue about whether they should kill him or throw him in jail.. the arguement turns deadly as Doom's mom shows up and frees him (not clear if the argument was mind control or not) Meanwhile, Thing chats with Johnny Storm about his encounter with the Maker. Another issue where pretty much nothing happens... really done with Bendis at this point 4/10
