I've been out of the game for a while, so I hope everyone's comfy with my posting some art. 1st up, daleks  not that easy to capture in oil on canvas, but... i had a go. sadly the dslr scorned my faltering attempt at lighting. it's a rainbow-dreadnought-dalek, imagined during the initial wars on Skaro, against Thals. there were supposed to be 2 more layers of glazes then super-shiny highlights added last, but it was stolen before I could complete those phases   |

well, it's impossible to do a proper/true dalek without you feeling that way, because Terry Nation, creator of the Daleks, survived WW2 and directly said they were a euphemism of the !^@z%!!! sucking wannabe reich. In fact the dalek designers in the early 60's had also suffered from the fascist assaults upon britain, and were 'on board' with Mr. Nation, so it's no surprise that the early/best dale designs looked like what you posted above. In any event, the only bad dalek design is the 'disco shoe' dalek of the Tennant period.
due to their anti-nazi creator, you can't do a dalek without invoking such imagery, in order to combat the source of the imagery, the aberrant philosophy of the 'race-hater'.
which is why all sjw's fail miserably compared to political-correctness.

And it looked so good already! thank you. sadly i was trusting towards a fellow creative, when I should have known better. this also happened yonks ago when i'd kindly lend expensive art-materials to ppl for a week-end to help them on a deadline, and on monday they'd be 'missing'. |

and now, for Caped Crusader, the other Dalek I've done, surely to engender the ijnverse reaction from CC, with a handwritten preamble out of respect to CC...  and here's the fabric-paint piece on the shirt...  Most assuredly 'non cis', yet appreciating/respecting the camp-aesthetics of Non Cis folk whom were horribly put upon trains, leading to 'camps', yes? |

I did a 'One in Ten Daleks is Gay' as well - with rainbow roundy bits - but I can't lay my hands on that one. well there must be queer daleks, since they came from the Kaleds just as there must be female daleks, which i think likely led to the amazing crescendo of 'Evil of the Daleks' where the Dr. helps daleks question reasons for orders/instructions, leading to the destruction of the [current] dalek emperor. grart work, junkmonkey! |
